It depends. I will assume for the sake of this answer that you are not abusing opiates.

You have been taking 3-4 pills a day for the last 6 days so that part works against you. Here's what you should do if you want to get the prescription filled.

Email the doctor (better case if put in writing). Follow up with a phone call. Tell them you are in pain but most importantly that YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SPECIALIST but don't know what to do about the pain in the mean time. Provide the doctor's name, date of appointment and phone number for proof.

Also, tell them that if they are uncomfortable with prescribing that particular med again to you that you would be appreciative for a prescription for anything that works. They will probably prescribe you the same thing because it works well. Also be sure to write that you won't ask them again.

Doctors are more receptive to written requests because there is a record of the request that they can put in your records. They also would have a tougher time saying no if your pain is documented.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Yes, since you have not exceeded the direction on the prescription. That would have been enough for approximately 5 days depending on the pain. It has been 6 days, so you should be okay asking for a refill.

No, it's not too soon. Perhaps you need to ask for a higher dosage(10 mg?) so you don't need to take so many pills. If it's a higher dosage, then maybe you just take one every four hours, and you won't go through them so fast?

Good Luck and GET WELL SOON HUNNY!

well, thats about 3 or 4 a day depending on what your script was written for weather it be 1 every 4-6hrs will depend if they will fill another script for you, Be aware hydrocodone is addictive and that is why they just write scripts for a few days and in low doses.

It all depends on how they were prescribed. If they were written for three or more/day, or1 tab every eight or fewer hours, or two tabsmore than once/day, you should be ready to refill.

in spite of you income this lengthy as you do not have a serious head harm, do no longer pass to the ER searching for discomfort meds. they are going to maximum likely grant you with something not more suitable than Ibuprofen or a non narcotic discomfort reliever. they have an inclination to look at all people as drug seekers exceptionally once you tell them your purpose of needing more effective of a narcotic discomfort reliever. i might want to call your well being care specialist and be conscious if he/she is in a position to replenish it. you may want to ought to pass again in to be re-checked because head injuries are serious at circumstances basically as what surpassed off to Natasha Richardson with a bump on the pinnacle at a ski hotel and then died. Being that you've made those pills very last this lengthy, your well being care specialist might want to be the single i might want to pass to. The ER holiday on my own might want to value round $350. maximum perfect desires for fix
