you can use henna and you probably won't be allergic to it.
i have a lot of skin allergies (not to hair dye but i was tested for it). i usually get irritation, blisters sometimes, stuff like that. ask for a patch test from your doctor and then you'll know for sure and what reaction you get. they can also give you lotions and ointments to help the allergic reaction go away. it's so much better for me now that i know what the problem is, really go get a test.

Hair dye is a really tricky thing especially as people can use the same hair dye several times and then all of a sudden they can use it again and have an allergic reaction so bad it nearly kills them because of some chemical that builds up inside their body each use. Try a patch test behind your ear or on your forearm (somewhere it won't wear off easily) a couple of days before you use it properly. If there is any sign that your skin reacted badly to it then DON'T use it!

Some of the Hair dye makes my scalp burn a little. Always do a patch test 1st. You can develope allergies at any time.
Henna should be fine. Just be prepared. It should be the consistancy of mud before you apply it, and it will fall off of your hair some.It takes a little practice to keep it the right consistancy and not have it fall off. Good luck.

I have dyed my hair many many times but the last time I did my brown underneath I used this 3$ revlon hairdye and it made me break out in a rash all over the back of my neck that lasted for weeks and it ate up my ear, there was a hole on the back of my ear that took forever to heal. I would say stay away from the cheap brands or you may be allergic to all of the brands.

I'm not allergic to hair dye. Be careful with that henna, maybe touch a little bit to see what happens first.

I'm allergic to hair dye, but not severly. My scalp will burn badly while the dye is on, and after I dye it my scalp will be red and itchy for several days.
