Hey i♥wranglerbutts,
Swyrich.com is one of the quickest. I like to back it up by going to LDS Family Search and seeing that there are Ancestors listed for that name in the location it says. But here are a bunch of that type of sites for lookup of surname. The look ups are generally free, some are not. The coat of arms pictures usually cost, and are not worth the money.

There are many such sites online. This seems to be one of the most common questions here, and there isn't anything wrong if finding a "meaning" is all you are interested in doing.
Just a friendly comment- not All names have a meaning. Especially in the US, there are tons of names which are derived from another name, have a different spelling from the original, etc. One example in my work is Dolphay, which was originally Dauphinais. I would not have known this, without tracing back to the immigrant.
Another thing to consider, is that without tracing your own lineage, you may not know of things such as an adoption.
Not to deter anyone, but just buyer beware, even if it is free.

I'm a writer who's always hunting for names for characters. Here's the site I go to the most:
http://surnames.behindthename.com/
It's 110% free and lists surnames from different countries. There's also a partner site:
http://www.behindthename.com/
where you can search your first name, too.
Hope this helps!! :)

There are several, but usually give the same meaning. Try this one:
