THis is an "if" situation. Keep an eye on her as that choclate CAN be poisionous to dogs. As long as she shows no problems, she will probably be fine. My American Eskimo ate two boxes of choclates and is still living. The ability to survive from choclate varies from dog to dog. It doesn't seem to be affecting her though. She should be fine.

It can be fatal to some dogs, others are just fine with chocolate. Some get ill and throw up on their own. Call a vet and they will ask that you bring the dog in for observation. $85 for them to watch the dog, Just observe and if there is any signs of distress then take the dog in and tell them what you did for it.

If it was a small box, she'll be fine. It takes 3 times a dog's weight in order for it to be toxic. She'll probably have diarrhea in a little while and it could last a few days depending on how much she ate.

My lab ate an entire bowl of Halloween Candy a few years ago (Wrappers and all). He had nasty diarrhea for a few days, but was absolutely fine (I took him in a week later to be x-rayd to make sure all the wrappers made it out...).

That's a big mess up. Dog's can't process cafiene very well. Now you will need to have her urine tested to see if hers are still working. She may be fine, or she may have given herself a bad case of renal-cushings (which is realy hard to treat, and usually fatal). I hope all works out for you. Sorry.

Yes, I'd call your vet. They could advise you and tell you what symptoms to look for from any possible poisioning. Better to be safe than sorry. Hope all is okay.
