Hi, I am fed up with boring hair. Its mousey brown in colour and probably 3inches long on top and a bit shorter at the back and sides. It is getting a little straggy but I want to have a drastic change. The problem I have is finding a hairdresser with the imagination and interest to take control of how my hair looks and I guess experiment. I just find that they generally just want to do a short back and sides and be done with it. Can anyone help me to get out of this rut and into the world of Creative Hairstyles. A hairdresser that showed interest could even get me to grow my hair if they had a plan. I live in the Midlands but work in London and Newcastle so am more than happy to travel. Please can anyone help!!!!

you might think this sounds mad, but find a college or training centre. ask for level 3 advanced students, they are already qualified but doing advanced courses. they have to cover high fashion design looks. they can design a full new look for you. they will also advise you on colour to enhance the new look you are after - total new you!

I would say go any big named more usual women's hairdressers (in London anyway) like Tony & Guy, Saks, Regis etc
