I agree with JC's wife, She should be mad at him. I think that is supposed to be mad anyway.

I am snowed in my house in North Pittsburgh. The only way my wife will feel amorous is if there is a Brad Pitt movie on television.The only movie I saw worth watching was Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield. My chances are looking bleak.

Just like any other day. But everyday is a good day.
My wife is planning a special supper tonight when I get home from work. Again, nothing out of the ordinary - just happens to be another day.

No Major Jim...I am not, not yet anyway. Its not a real good time in life for me as I am going through a divorce and its very painful, partifularly because I think divorce is wrong. Even though my children are grown, they too are hurting badly.

So far so good. I'm going to a first grader Valentines day party later. Imagine a room full of 6 and 7 year olds high on sugar. lol

I have 7 inches of snow covered in an inch of ice, and we are to get more snow today. I am going to cozy up to the wood stove and watch the day after tomorrow due to its appropriateness. Yes, this is a good valentines day. Hope yours goes well.

I don't really go in for the typical Feb 14th version of Valentine's Day. I think you cheat yourself of the REST of the year if you swallow the whole "hype". My hubby and I try to make everyday special. For example;
He runs my bath for me everyday, and makes me a cuppa tea which he places beside the bathtub,
We make sure we tell each other numerous times a day "I LOVE YOU"
We always hold hands
He turned 54yrs old yesterday, and easily looks 10years younger, and I tell him how handsome he is everyday, etc...
My point is to make EVERYDAY Valentine's Day!!
So YES!! I'm having a great day! He already called twice today to tell me he misses me, and I sent him a couple of emails at work!!!

Nope. I'm working, I just gashed my hand open, and now I'm bleeding on my keyboard. Furthermore I'm going on 4 hours of sleep, crappy mc donalds breakfast, and the desire to go home and wish I didn't dump my girlfriend before Valentines Day (I find it strangely ironic that the subject of this day is love, and the day can be written shorthand with the letters VD).

It will get better when I get to IHOP.
MMMMM.......Pancakes with a heart attack of butter and syrup. Hash browns. Eggs. Coffee. I think I had a food-gasm just now.
I did find a pair of diamond earrings in my favorite coffee cup this morning :) My husband can be sweet when he tries.

I'm spending the day at home after quitting my job (start new one on Monday) and relaxing. I'm going to bring my husband his Valentine's Day Gift (a big bucket of Dark Chocolate ... his favorite) and then go bring my mom her gift (I bought her a big teddy bear). My husband gave me the most beautiful vintage necklace and earring set today, so I think I'm also going to go see if I can find a shirt or blouse that will match it. :)
