It's clear that they lied to us about Iraq possessing WMDs (see Cheney's statement below claiming "there is no doubt that Iraq has WMD's"...the evidence shows it WAS HIGHLY DOUBTFUL). So why should we believe them now when they're claiming Iran is arming the insurgents?
"Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction; there is no doubt that he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies, and against us." ~Dick Cheney August 2002
Why should we believe their official explanation of 911 for that matter, especially when they stonewalled the investigation?

Uhh, yeah they did. They claimed that Saddam PRESENTLY had WMDs, not that he had them in the past. We all already knew that. And the few random degraded shells they found buried and useless after the invasion? If they're not in usable shape they hardly count as WMDs, unless maybe you count throwing them at somebody.
But you go on drinking the kool-aid, if that's what gets you through the day.

Do you see the "no doubt" statement Cheney made? That means there's INDISPUTABLE PROOF, not just an assumption like the one you made. And we now know that Bush/Cheney did NOT have indisputable proof. So they lied. Get it?

I claim Bush/Cheney lied to us, and what reason would I have to be untruthful? I wasn't making any affirmative assertion and therefore I have no burden of proof and no reason to lie.
If someone says to you "there is no doubt" about something, doesn't that mean 100% certainty to you? And if it's later shown that there WASN'T 100% certainty, didn't that person intentionally misrepresent the facts to you?

Yes, but degraded pre-Gulf War shells that had been buried don't exactly count as WMD's do they? Even under laboratory conditions sarin gas degrades quicker than that, and being buried in sand certainly doesn't count as lab conditions.
Again, you go on believing what you need to believe to get yourself through the day, but it's clear Bush/Cheney lied to the American people. I could also give you an example where Bush lied in 2004 about domestic wiretapping, claiming that it wasn't ever done without a warrant. That of course was patently untrue.

If I had a dollar for every internet clown who claimed he was in the service I'd be able to retire right now. Run along and play with your GI Joe, troll.
