I have developed a gadget that would maintain the flow of mountain rivers on the mountain tops and mountain sides. This gadget would be able to irrigate the mountain tops and mountain sides and is a potential source of energy. is there any one interested in financing this project proposal? Please share this query to your government officials responsible in economic development programs!

Your best bet would be to contact engineering departments at the large Universities near you. You are going to need to prepare IP agreements and the Universities are going to want a piece (probably a big one), but anyone financing your project will probably ask for at least 51%.

You are going to need details of the product and the processes involved. It is not clear to me what you are trying to do from your description. And if you are going to mess with mountaintops and energy sources, you are going to need at least the beginning of an environmental impact statement.

Your other choice is to form a small company and look at the government SBIR program, but if it is only you involved, that will not be a productive route. Any grant you get from the government requires you be an official on paper company or nonprofit institute. It is not cheap to go that route. What you can get by looking at the various SBIR websites (just google it) is a list of companies in your area that already participate. Find some that are in similar fields and contact them.

I suggest that you market your idea with a more sophisticated target audience than Y! Answers. I don't see to many venture capital people trolling Answers for ideas ;-)

As for "government officials responsible in economic development programs"? To quote Ronald Reagan: "Government isn't part of the problem, government *is* the problem".
