Check with some of your local Mom and pop banks. Just might not be a bad idea. Stay away from Wells fargo, Chase and Citibank also. If you have any American Express cards you might want to get rid of those as well.

to Holly O: Incomprehensible this.

Its going to get really interesting.
Well Holly? What do you think now?
To slings and arrows:the illegals actually became terrorists when they had their May 1st 2006 illegal immigration protests. That was in fact a "Certified act of Terrorism" look at the first link i provided here then look up "Certified acts of Terrorism". Decide for yourself. It will shock you.
To katsulove: Good business huh? They do realize that it is in fact "Illegal to accept the Matricula Consular as a reliable form of identification don't they?Maybe its time to fire up the Better Business Bureau on this one as well. I told everybody about this over a month ago. Now that the news releases it they pay attention? Sad, very Sad.
and i'm going to suggest this once again(like talking to a wall). If you have credit accounts with any of these establishments and have noticed your credit score score dropping, file a fraud alert on your credit report. You only have to file with one credit report agency and will go out to the other two. Look closely at your credit inquiries as well as your account review inquiries. see how many times any of these institutions have checked up on you. Also if you have received any letters from any of these establishments explaining to you that they lost your information. Contact your Local Better Business Bureau and file a complaint immediaitely. Trust me when i say the rabbit hole on this one goes deep.
You know some of us agreed to protect valuable infrastructure within this great nation as well as its citizen population. My question then becomes how in the he11 can we effectively do this when the major financial institutions are in fact financing terrorist organizations? My answer to this dilemma is as follows. Anybody who has money at any of these institutions or loans, lines of credit and/or credit cards with them, should immediately withdraw all of their funds as well as not pay another dime on any of their loan accounts, because you are "in effect" helping to sponsor the very terrorism being commited against you and these United States. However this is just one scenario. Anybody else have a better idea? This way here not physical harm is brought upon any one individual and in fact can definitely be construed as a common defense of these United States and the constitutional representative "REPUBLIC" for which it stands. Like i said just an idea however.
Look up terrorism.
Look at unconventional warfare(i.e psychological).
See what apathy is.
I have to admit, this was smooth on their part. Too bad ppl pay attention huh?
Add MBNA to that list now.

To give me some truth: We don't have to pay them another dime. Read section 4 of the 14th amendment.

You guys are hysterical. You dont make such an uproar that the underpaid busboy, maid, lawn care tech e.t.c. might be illegal alien because they are serving your purpose. They are making their employers rich by underpaying and uninsuring their illegal employee. Yeah get rid of all the illegal immigrants and see what kind of economy we will have. Consider this, if we get rid of all the illegal immigrants, the employers will have to pay "real" salary in order to keep people employed at these dead end crappy jobs so they will have to raise their prices, with the economy at its present stand, I guarantee you will be whining on how the cost of living is at an all time high.
I could care less if a bank loans someone thats illegal a loan....so what. Obviously they dont consider such a risk for non payment.
Its ok to use people as long as it fits our agenda and benefit. (rolling my eyes)
Helloooooo everyone out there...The banks are financial institutions not immigration...These immigrants have a tax id number which is legal enough. I'm sure a bank has enough extra man power to run each of these people through the immigration system to check their status. Next you people will be accusing the doctors of illegal activity by treating illigal immigrants...Where does it stop.

Chicago :
A coalition including Citibank, Bank One, and 33 other banks—banded together as the New Alliance Task Force—are rolling out a model loan program meant to bring undocumented Chicago immigrants into the mortgage mainstream.

A few lending pioneers already provide home financing to immigrants with no Social Security numbers, and the task force's hotly debated plan provides guidance to other banks that are interested in following this lead.

Without Social Security identification, banks can quantify applicants' credit risk by contacting employers, landlords, and utilities; but the greater risk of extending credit to these borrowers is reflected by a higher interest rate. However, critics say, the bigger problem is that banks that provide mortgages to undocumented residents are facilitating illegal immigration for the sake of greed rather than acting to improve financial services to legal immigrants.

NEW YORK — Bank of America Corp. has begun offering credit cards to customers without Social Security numbers, typically illegal immigrants, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

In recent years, banks across the country have been offering checking accounts and even mortgages to the nation's fast-growing ranks of undocumented immigrants, most of whom are Hispanic, the paper said, adding these immigrants generally have not been able to get major credit cards.

The new Bank of America card is open to people who lack both a Social Security number and a credit history, as long as they have held a checking account with the bank for three months without an overdraft, and can afford the $ 99.00 fee, the Journal said.

Bank of America tested the program last year at five branches in Los Angeles, and last week expanded it to 51 branches in Los Angeles County, home to the largest concentration of illegal immigrants in the U.S., the Journal said.

I am in the process of changing my personal accounts to a "Credit Union". They dont give you anything without proper documentation.
My business accounts are more difficult to move and find a bank that can handle them.
I told Chase why I was pulling my accounts. They tried to tell me that it was just good business. They dont give a damn about anything but the money.

Why not? The Government gives them food stamps, welfare, and low income housing. While we that were born and raised here have to get out and work and pay taxes to support them. I have been working all my life since I got out of High School at the age of 17 I am now in my 40's and have become disable, but have been told there is no help for me, so go figure.

The America your father and grand father grew up in -- no longer exists. The America you grew up, believing in -- does not exist anymore.

America is nothing more than an economic zone. That's the cold reality of it.

American citizens are second-rate citizens and will soon be marginalized as more than 100 million more illegals enter this nation via the coming amnesty proposals by Bush. The corporations know the future of this nation belongs to the illegals and are poised to profit off it.

That's the reality of it.

The very fact that these people can get deported at anytime shows them to be a bad risk. When this happens the illegal aliens default on their balances and we get to pay for it via higher interest rates. This doesn't even include the fact that most illegal aliens have fake documents to begin with

I don't know but I agree with you. This is an outrage. Why are these people giving illegals rights? They aren't citizens. This is what them marching in our streets demanding rights gets them? I want to go to Mexico, and demand presidency. Think that will happen? I doubt it. But our government, and corporations don't want to see what's right, and want to remain neutral, and politically correct for what? I guess they can't see what that means for the future of our country, and as Americans. Soon, I have a feeling if no one does anything, we will be Mexi-Mericans. Let's Do SOmething.

I think this is BoA rights to do so, but ethically and legally illegal does not have any rights in this country, because they have committed crime by violating US immigration law, which most of our senators do not have guts to say that they follow the law... Hope it will help.

Let's see, they can't legally be hired, and in some places can't rent an apartment, but they can get a credit card that they can't pay back. Serves Bank of America right if they all default on their cards!
