Well, one custom is that on Chinese New Year you set off fireworks and another is that you put a red paper pouch with money in it under someone's pillow. Or you could go around saying "Happy New Year" to people, who will then give you money.

The main faiths of China:
Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and a smaller number of both Christianity and Islam.

There are just many customs in China that it would be too much to list and/or to pick and choose from just a few.

I would think Buddhism. There are a smal portion very very very small portion that are christians.
