Sigh....I am not a rampant materialist...as a Buddhist I reject materialism, and my scientific reductionism is simply NOT, rather scientists are now searching Buddhist texts for scientific proofs, I will not say no to logic and reason to do so would be a mockery and a rejection of truth. Ignorance is a source of suffering, I will embrace truth and endeavour to end your suffering and your ignorance.
Peace from a Buddhist.

But science has beauty too. Without science we wouldn't see the galaxies of the universe. Without science the shape of a snowflake would be lost to us. Have you ever truly wondered about all the molecules and what they look like? The way they work together is beautiful too.
As for materialism, look at the churches of today? Unlike in the middles ages, when churches amassed a fortune, they spent a great deal of that money of works of art to glorify their god. Look around you now. We still have churches getting rich, but what do they do with their money? most of it goes on huge houses for the paster, and armani suits he wear when he wows his TV audience and begs for more money.
There is so much beauty in the world, and in all aspects of our lives. We don't need religion to see it, we just need to open our eyes.

Of course dragons are real. It's just the fact that so many people dismiss them as merely myths that anger the typical dragon fan. Have hope and faith in your beliefs. The dragons are out there in the world, waiting for us. And when we find them, we'll be ready.
If you're ever traveling the world in the future, ask the local villagers who believe in dragons. They'll be sure to point you in the right direction.

Only a nitwit would advise anyone to ignore reason. Facts and reason are the ONLY sound basis for making judgements. Next time you're not well, take your own advice and see a doctor who make medical judgements without deducting a diagnosis from symptoms. Or if you ever get into legal trouble, hire yourself a lawyer that makes legal arguments not based in reason. Logic and reason are invaluable.

Hey, just because you want to live in fantasy land doesnt give you the right to be mad at the rest of us who live in the real world.
I like unicorns, dragons and magic and all that stuff, as they are meant to be....in movies.

Well since to be ignorant we would have to have a lack of knowledge and many of us have knowledge about some of the various gods and goddesses I would say ignorant is not an accurate word to describe us.
That's just a start.
