Meat...use your noggin. How would anyone know if God did this since we would not know their possible earthly future if they were dead?

Hi 6000,
Your assessment of my answer was inaccurate. I can understand why as you hold that this existence is all we have. While I care not that you ask any question you choose, when you suppose to reference another's input, it should be done within context or at least with intent to convey the message given in the answer you reference, otherwise it is just fabrication as is the case here.
I never said that God killed anyone to protect them from their future. In fact if you were to look at my answer again you might glean that the death of a child, while shortening their existence on this earth, could be viewed as hastening their progress and continueing their future.
Regarding euthanasia, I assume that you are referring in this instance the practice of men. It is wrong because it is an use of a power to end the existence of like on this earth without the full understanding and authority to use such power.
We have, in this state, been commanded not to murder. With our limited perspective and wisdom, while we have the ability to kill, it is not knowledge or wisdom to use our limited perspective to assert ourselves beyond that which we have confirmed as truth and gained wisdom to be able to use that knowledge appropriately.

Only Enoch was taken up to God. That was not to protect him from his future, tho. The people who died in the flood did so because when God told them the flood was coming, get to the boat, they did not believe Him, They had so much faith in their own ways, the chose not to obey God. That's why, as parents, we must obey God. Our children suffer our fate until they are old enough to decide for themselves. God tried to save them - there was room in the ark and all were told to come. Those poor children died because they had disobedient, unfaithful parents. God didn't kill them, their own parents did. Sad, but true. Euthanasia is killing. Thou shalt not kill.

We don't know what all God has done. But I do know that euthanasia is NOT wrong. Why let someone suffer through a long hard death?
We find it cruel to not but animals down when they are in pain and sick. Why can't we let people decide if the pain is too much and they are ready to go?

Euthanasia is giving up on God. Yes, I very much understand that people who are in that state are in a horrible situation. My grandma chose to stop eating because she was in so much pain and heartache, and would soon die from cancer. I'm not saying she's a bad person for doing so. I have no right to judge that. Just like no one has the right to judge anyone who kills themselves, regardless of the situation.
However, for my 'own' choice..I choose to have faith that God will do what is best for me. He will know the best time for me to die, not myself.
Blessings and Love,
Sarah

I am not sure about the babies in the flood, but I have heard of God quickly taking some people after they had re-repented several times, to take them while they were right.

I don't think that God ever kills people to protect them from their future. People die, because their bodies become worn down or destroyed for whatever reason, sort of like cars. It's just a fact of life.

God would never allow someone to die before their time. But if you take unnecessary chances you are taking your life into your own hands.
In some countries euthanasia is not illegal, and it is accepted. Personally I think it is wrong, wrong, wrong, to take a person's life. There are measures to allow people to die in comfort and with dignity. Euthanasia is assisted suicide.

The bible does not cite any instances where God killled anyone in order to protect them. On the contrary, there are numerous times where believers suffered on account of Him (After perseverance comes reward).

Never!!! God lets people have their own choices. Why would he kill them. And euthanasia is VERY wrong because it is killing someone. PERIOD!

Did the Almighty not take up Enoch to protect him ? Very little is known of it. I think the Vatican ought to publish the book of Enoch .
