NEED a meaning of life
NEED a reason to pray, worship of an imaginary god
-because of the-
FEAR of not going to heaven
FEAR of not having eternal life
FEAR that they're not alone
FEAR that they have no one to turn to
FEAR of not having someone looking after them
and the craziest (most over-looked) reason...
FEAR OF THEIR OWN GOD IF THEY DONT SERVE AND WORSHIP IT FOR THEIR ENTIRE LIVES, FOR THEY WILL BE CONDEMNED FOREVER.

I Know the meaning of Life..For God Created the Heavens and the Earth..
I Pray for those in need..I worship a Living God..
I have No Fear of going to Heaven..For in His House are many Mansions..
I have No Fear of not having Eternal Life..To all that believe in Him, He gives eternal life..
I have No Fear of being alone..For God is with me always..
I have No Fear of having no one to turn to..Because I have the Lord to turn to in times of need.. :)
There is No Fear of having someone to look after me..For He said He will Never leave me, nor forsake me..
I have "Reverence" Fear for my Lord My God..I worship My Creator, for He forgave me of my sins..When I was sinking deep in sin..My Lord lifted me up and He set my feet on rock to stay..
Perfect Love (Jesus) casteth out All fear.. :)
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

I have been on both sides of the Christianity fence. I have lived caring less of GOD, or what any Christian gad to say. But when I started talking to Christians, and learning how they think I realized fear is the last thing they think. Yes there are bizzaro extremists who preach by fear, but in general it's o.k. to make a mistake. It's o.k. to be wrong. It's o.k. to question ones own faith. yeah I said it people question. But over all they don't live that way out of fear. It's a choice. One they L.O.V.E.

There have been well-thought out philosophical argument for the existence of god and such, but most people don't have the education or intellectual inclinations to understand them. However, everyone feels fear, so that's what religious use to reach the masses. To achieve popularity, appeal to the lowest common denominator, and never underestimate the effectiveness of scare tactics. Personally, the extremely unlikely, zillion to one shot that there is a god and an afterlife isn't enough to scare me.

I'm not a Christian because I'm afraid of what might happen to me after I die. I'm a Christian because I've studied different views of the world and this is the one that makes most sense to me. I'm not afraid of my God. My God is a God of Love. He doesn't send people to Hell, people choose to go to Hell. My God is not a magic genie that appears to grant wishes, keep me company, or protect me. My God desires to have a real and meaningful relationship with me. But you obviously don't know my God if that's what you think He is.

I think it's the opposite, I don't fear anything with Jesus. I can walk in the darkness and fear no evil. We are the most hopeful people. But thanks for trying to spin that on me, to bad it didn't work.

I did not turn to God being afraid, why should I be afraid, He gave me peace & joy, None of the things you mentioned caused me to turn to God. It was what Jesus Christ did for me to suffer on the cross, knowing that all it took was just one drop of blood to cleanse my soul. That is why I am a Christian. you need to try harder to offend us Christians.
