ok first do NOT pour BOILING water over her food...that will burn her. especially is she is inside now. warm water is best. warm up some chicken broth..make sure its low sodium because salt isnt good for dogs. the vitamins in the chicken broth is good for the dogs. and I agree with the person that said..if you wouldnt give it to a baby dont give it to the dog. also call your vet. keep putting towels and blankets in the dryer to warm them and cuddle the dog. body heat is best :) and you can always put some wet dog food in the microwave for 20 sec. if you warm anything in the microwave make sure you stick your finger in it to check it to make sure it isnt too hot. your pup will be fine though. Why was she "swimming" through the snow. was she just running outside or was she outside stuck in the snow for a long time??

Warm blankets and even a heating pad would be a good idea to warm her up. Warm food might help some but being hairless you want to protect her skin like you would your own. Maybe you should try a sweater for her. I know people think they are dumb but for dogs that are hairless, or even sensitive dogs like a greyhound or a puppy, when it is super cold they need some protection. Basically if your dog does not have an undercoat (like Golden Retrievers do) they may need some extra protection from the elements.

Something that would work that is cheap and healthy for ur dog would be to heat a can of beef broth or anykind of broth heated up and just pour it over its dry dog food. i do this all the time just not to have to dispose of it in the garbage bag . My dog's health is great so evidently this is not hurting her. Is the dog an outside dog? If so, let it in the house some. Tell ur dog happy Valentine's Day and to u also.

Food isn't the answer to warm her, put a blanket on her and cuddle her. You can feed her cooked chicken and rice warm, but if she's cold, that's gonna take some time to make.

Heating pads, blankets, warm her regular food up but not too hot. Warm her up gradually so that she doesn't go from one extreme to another. Hope she feels better

Call your vet or a rescue and tell them about the situation. They would be of great help/suggestions for you.
Rescues in your area: http://www.mypetnanny.info/PD/index.htm
Take good care of her. She must have been through a lot. The owners may be looking for her. You should notify animal shelters and rescues in your area that she is with you.
