The real God is nice.

The made up judgmental, punishing god you are talking about sounds like a psychopath.

Love and blessings Don

You know it's rough being freed from slavery, dumped in the desert to learn from scratch what God does and does not expect of you. It's rough when you've been living in an Egyptian culture that has rubbed off in all the wrong ways. It is hard to unlearn and then learn over, all the ways to be living a godly life. Take a look at your list - it's disgusting stuff. Who would say that doing those things is right?

God is a nice guy. He was nice enough to bring the slaves out of Egypt, put them in a place of safety, provide food and water, and a set of rules to order their lives by that would ensure happiness. Then He gave them instructions on how to build a temple "That He might dwell among them". He loves people. He wants to dwell with us. Yeah, I'd say that qualifies as nice.

God is a guy? Look if he exists, would we really be His creation? Don't you rather think everything "just is"? Having spent weeks at a time living in the wild. getting back to nature, I felt this deep unavoidable truth : "WE are ONE". All that is, is one huge(infinite) being. A human is like an arm or a finger to that being.
I have never read this, thought this, blindly believed this. I have EXPERIENCED it.

Yes God is a God of love.Laws showed the Israelites what to do and what not to do.like other lady said"you do something bad you get spanked".

No one ever fully kept those Laws. They were put there to show we couldn't live up to God's standards.Only someone perfect could and that was Jesus. Now if you are a believer ,He stands in for you at Judgement and God sees us as Jesus...perfect.And I thank Him because I could not do it on my own.

Many people tries to condem the Judgement of God, but in reality, It is the sinner that is causing the Judgement, so Let's get the record straight, It is You that forces the hand of God in Judgement. & it is satan that influences you to do such evil.

God wants us to have good morals. How would you feel if a man slept with your wife? without morals life has no value. God knows more than we do. He created us.
