Well, that would be an assumption that those with a belief in God are the only ones who possess morals. I do not believe this is true. The world you describe has existed eons ago.
But yes, it would be a life without hope, I do agree.
You have kind of mixed religion with government I think.

"All the victims of hunger and war and rape have no hope. Evil and torture has no punishment. There is no Justice, triumph to the strong ones and lucky ones and defeat to the weak ones and unfortunate."
Isn't that pretty much the state of the world now where most DO believe in god?

So you believe in a God just because you cannot cope with the idea that the universe might actually be an unjust, or more properly, non-just place to live?
All the evidence says life's not fair. Anyone who invokes a deity as the 'great balancer' is just running away from that fact.
------------
Added: It occurs to me... if there is a deity who balances it all out in the end... what's the point in working for Justice in the here-and-now? That murderer just killed 500 people? Bah, let him go, he just sent a bunch of people to heaven and he'll get what's coming to him in the end.
With a deity to promise all will be well... life becomes utterly meaningless and hopeless, because we have no reason to make things better HERE.

No. The tragedy is the rape, hunger and war humans have to endure - not the lack of some hypothetical judgment meted out AFTER death to the perpetrators. Justice will depend on us and it requires that we get off our lazy and religious butts and FIGHT for it HERE, NOW!

Quite the opposite. WE give the life value and value it more as we know this is the only time we get.
If God actively intervened to stop what you describe you might have an argument. Instead all religion offers is the hope that the next life will be better.
That is not a loving god. that is just hope. And it is not enough.

i'm no longer a Christian yet i think that's attainable to be ethical and make basically judgements without believing in a god or gods. Why? via fact morals come from society. we are raised on what's sturdy and incorrect. little ones won't be in a position to hold close the thought-approximately God at 3 or 4 years of age. yet they comprehend what they'd desire to and should no longer do via fact their mom and father tell them or enable them to comprehend via punishing them (spanking, holiday, etc.). we are raised on morals. If a infant is raised to scouse borrow, then that youngster will enhance right into a young person and proceed to scouse borrow (except they alter their existence around). If a infant is taught to declare "confident ma'am and no sir" then that youngster will proceed announcing that to others as they enhance. Morals enhance on us. What little ones study of their little ones generally continues to be with them throughout the time of existence. If there grew to become into in no way a god in any respect do you think of that people could no longer have made up a equipment of regulation and order on their very own? that's attainable to have morals and make the ultimate judgements in existence without believing in God. i think of that Atheists are greater beneficial than adequate info of that. i'm info of that still. i comprehend it is actual via fact I stay it.

Morals does not come from a whip. Morals comes from choice and for myself may be different than your current value. God through life does not have every one on the same plateau at once.

Without the laws of God set by God, I believe we had survival of the fittest. I believe that is why God destroyed the world for violence in Noah's Flood. They were forever doing wickedness.
God gave His laws to Moses and He wanted animal sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin (remission of sin). Man couldn't live by the law of God. So God sent His Son Jesus Christ a perfect sinless sacrifice and when we believe in Him the Holy Spirit comes in and changes the heart and mind. The only righteousness, justice, and moral value in us is Christ in us.

A man or woman that does not have God in their heart has no sense of accountability. They see themselves as free agents that can do what they want to, when they want to and how they want to. Such a life is meaningless because it has no direction. It wanders here and there looking for fulfillment, but cannot find it. Humans left to their own wills will sin and do evil---it is part of our fallen condition. Without moral restrictions we will do what is right in our own eyes, rather than doing what is right in the eyes of God. God's wisdom exceeds our own as far as heaven exceeds hell. When we attach human-like characteristic and emotions to God and limit him in the way we are limited, then we are walking our own way, which is the way to destruction. The carnal man or woman sees himself/herself as existing above God, that is to say being God's boss. But how can the pot tell the potter that made it how it is supposed to be used? It is the potter that has made the pot for a definite purpose and the pot cannot change the intent of the potter. So is the realtionship between God and mankind. Moral precepts have been instituted by God not to torture us or to restrict our freedom, but to save us from ourselves and to actually allow us more freedom that we ever invisioned. A life without boundaries is a life of bondage because a soul does not know how far to venture. It would be like living on an Earth that was flat---you would sail and sail and sail until eventually you and your ship would drop off the end oif the Earth into a void from which there would be no return.
