You must accept the Lord..........and in accepting your are accepted.......crap like that......I am all for religion for it's moral purpose but people please.........let's not get too literal about stories written by men. Most of the bible can be translated into whatever you want it to mean to fit your purpose or belief.

don't confuse religion with spiritual people. religion is anything you want it to be. i believe in God and Jesus. am I religious? nah! am I spiritual? yep. to me being a truly spiritual person means accepting everyone for who they are and loving them anyway, no matter what they do. now as a believer of course i pray that others will be saved and believe also but i also feel it is up to them, i can not push anyone to do what they don't want to. i am not perfect so i don't expect anyone else to be either. i don't agree that people are ignorant just because they quote the Bible. Jesus is a good role model. we should all try to live like him.

I am sorry you have had to deal with Christian like that. Really, you should address that personally with whoever does it. I am a Christian but I prefer the simple message...Love God, Love Everyone, Don't judge...sums it up easily. When a Christian, or anyone, tries to make a point through a complicated process of assumptions and judgements...then they really are not a mature Christian yet.

So...because you have no comprehension of the things they believe, they are "hiding their ignorance behind ridiculous babble"???

I suppose those who are not very good at school say the same thing when they don't understand what their teacher is talking about.... lol

Sorry, That phrase " Most of the bible..." is as old as dirt and as inacurate as can be.

Here is one verse for you to try and twist....

John 3:16
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Hello allindotc... :)

How would one translate these scriptures:

I am your God
You shall have no other gods before Me
You shall not make for yourself an idol
You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
Honor your parents
You shall not murder
You shall not commit adultery
You shall not steal
You shall not bear false witness
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife
You shall not covet your neighbor's house...

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

Who's ignorant? Religious people, or those who ridicule others for their precious beliefs? Have some tact, man!

Again...sin is what blinds people from the truth. As soon as the truth is revealed to you by the Holy Spirit of God....you will see things differently. Right now, you are viewing things from your own perspective instead of from a Godly one.

You trust Darwin, don't you. Then you believe the European Caucasian is the "master race' and women have smaller brain sizes.

Or do you have your own 'babble' brain you follow?

And atheists don't? Please.

Try to argue both sides of the coin and you can avoid making such absurd claims in the future.

These are people that don't think for themselves. They claim God gave us free will, but they act like they're brain washed.
