Hello all. Can someone please tell me how to generate more traffic to my website as its been running for 4 weeks and I'm only getting 50 people a day.
I have filled loads of submit site forms in ,but nothing changes only the weight of my email box with spam. I dont have that much money so paying for advertising is out at the moment. My website is of clean content with a lot of good links to top sites and information in my help file.
I'm new to this but I did use blastomatic and I bought a copy of website promoter to help submit my website. Please advise me, thankyou.

A couple of things first of all.
1) 50 people a day afer 4 weeks is very commendable and quite unusal. Are you reading your stats correctly. Look at www.statcounter.com - a great service - to get some good info.
2)Blastomaster is where your spam is coming from and the website promoter - is bringing on confirmation emails from the search engines you have been put in for. Use Outlook rules to deal with these. Read them first because some engines like you to confirm the input. As you are using their service free - it is only polite.
Despite what some companies will try and tell you - setting up a web site takes some time. I suggest that you spend some solid time marketing it for the next 2 months.

I'm not terribly knowledgeable, but can your address be posted as a link from sites that might pertain to yours?? many industries have sites where numerous other sites that are relative to one another are all listed. You usually get a paragraph or line to put your important "key" words
