Not a chance in h..ll ! There are way too many perverts out there preying on people . My son won't get one either. It's not just girls that need protected. I believe in protecting both of my children.

Hmmm ... Sorry, what does she "need" a webcam for? If she can give you a viable reason why having this webcam is a necessity in her life, then by all means do it. Otherwise, don't think so. Does she have her own computer in her own bedroom, that she has access to whenever she wants, with NO parental restrictions? If so, you're stuck on stupid as a parent. Put the computer in the living room/family room/whatever room that is highly-trafficked by parents ... then she can have a webcam (but it only gets hooked up by parents, when they're home to monitor what EXACTLY it is being used for).
With those restrictions, I'm sure she won't even WANT it anymore! Which, by the way, will make you see that she obviously wants it for some reasons that you, as parents, would absolutely hate! Translation: she's already doing something that would get her grounded for 160000 years, and now wants to take it THAT much further. Keep your eyes/ears open and watch that child like a hawk!

I agree. Heck no i would'nt let my daughter have a webcam with all them sickos out there in the world.

I've seen to many females get naked on webcam to ever consider letting my daughter have one.

no she doesnt need a webcam, y cant she talk 2 the ppl over chat she doesnt need 2 see their face or them 2 see hers.
