I have IE 7 on Windows XP and I have an internet connection. But for some reason, it keeps pulling up the error page. Is there a way to fix this? I'm in an office where others IE 7s are working. It seems to be just mine. Thanks!

I should also add that I deleted IE 7 and I STILL can't surf the net, not even to download mozilla, which I want to do. I have an internet connection and I can connect to my messangers, but I can't surf the internet, not even with IE 6.

It's full of bugs and is crap, in my opinion.

I switched to Mozilla Firefox a couple of months ago and am glad I did. Firefox is much safer than IE as well as fast and does eveything IE should do, but for some reason cant.

Download it and compare.

UPDATE: sounds like you need to contact your I.T. guy at the office you work at.

IE 7 is a terrible program that just invites shareware and malicious programming onto computers. The best thing you can do with IE 7 is delete it and use Mozilla Firefox instead.
But since you're in an office, you may not be allowed to change the company's computer settings...so I would get with the IT person there and see what the problem is. I'd hate to see you get in trouble for changing a configuration.

Lots of people have problems with IE7 screwing up on them, and switch to using Mozilla Firefox instead and only use IE for websites with features that insist on using IE.

Firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

While if office computer policy absolutely insists you use IE, there's a theme to disguise Firefox as IE here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/4327/

Since you deleted it, you'll probably have to reinstall it because it messed up IE6. If you do reinstall it, try running it without any plug ins(should fix the problem). Or just copy Firefox to a flash drive or CD or something and install it. That would probably be easier.
