you can copy and paste the data in excel. If excel is converting the data, as it sometimes does, you'll need to select the cells (or entire columns or rows) and right click. Select "format" from the menu. You'll see a tabbed box that comes up. The first tab deals with the formatting of the values (is it date, zip code, text, percentage, etc.), as well as how many decimals should show. Make sure you apply the information, and this will preserve data if it was being automatically altered.

If you want to display the number 10 as text in a cell, then you can enter the formula ="10"

this is done with function key but this feature is not in the ms excel,............in office xp 2003 the function name is bathtext() this function convert number into word but in thai language......This is possible through only visual basic..........if u want that function in vb (which is use in excel) then post email to me i will send u.

if you wanna display 000010 then select the cell and give ="000010"

or

select the cell, right click, select "format cells" and select category as "Text" from Numbers tab
