I was given an old PC that I had to format and reload with the original Windows ME recovery software. Now it wants the Product Key and it's no where to be found. Can anyone help?

You can find your original key on a sticker (normally at back or front side of your PC casing or at bottom if its a laptop). Or if you installed it from CD, it must be on the CD cover.

If this doesn't help, you can open www.serials.ws, it is a product key / cd key repository but make sure it's not illegal in your country, else you may end up facing piracy charges.

Hope that helps!

It should be on a sticker on the PC or in the documentation (if you got any). You could have gotten it from within Windows if you did not format.

Why use an obsolete operating system? Get UBUNTU. It's a free, reliable and up to date operating system. You also get all programs FREE!!!

If your computer has 256MB of RAM get a full version. If less, get XUBUNTU.
