No of course not. But neither should a Christian be told that what they believe is bunk and be mistrusted, discriminated against and urged to "unconvert" (I did not make that word up...its in one of the atheists books on dealing with Christians).

Neither should be called names, told they are idiots or have no intelligence, have their beliefs...or atheism torn apart or put down. We should simply treat everyone decently.

Urged to convert...Yes.We...take that back.I (and im sure other good real Christians out there)dont discriminate against or distrust an atheist just because he is an atheist.Only thing i do is try to prove evolution wrong with the Bible. But they have hardened hearts and wont even listen with an open mind.

Its people like fugitive (below my answer)who most likely will not accept the message of Christ until after the rapture(or possibly not even then).

Everyone should figure out their own path. No one should be discriminated against ever. Atheist or not. I wouldn't try to to convert you as long as you didn't take cheap shots a my religion. I trust people as long as I have a reason to. Not all Atheists are bad, and not all Christians are good. Why not also include in your question however all other types of religion. Jewish.. Islam.. Wiccian.. Satanic... Why just ask Christians?

NO one in America should be discriminated against according to our freedoms. Other countries discriminate against groups of people according to who is in power at any given time. The atheist is no different than any other group of people. GOD says that I am to treat others with respect and that means that I should not be disrespectful of them. Christians were given the Great Commission by Christ in Matthew 28. This means that it is our JOB to reach, teach, and Baptize everyone that we possibly can. HE expects us to do so. Have a great day!

Christians are told to preach the word and win souls for Jesus...SO, I am sure we should be preached to and urged to convert at every opportunity. I see no reason why we should be distrusted though...

no group should, but many often are. many christians often distrust and discriminate against atheists, they think we "don't have an open mind" are heathens, immoral, lack values and a sense of right & wrong, and treat us as such. it's quite prejudiced really. people should be taken as individuals, not lumped into pre-defined groups and judged on that alone.

Personally I think that trust has to be earned wether you are Atheist or Christian, If forced down the throat conversion is what you refer to then a definite no to this, conversion should come about because of the good example by Christians and by less Bible Bashing on Athiests.

If I owned my own business, & I need some workers, I will not discriminate because someone is Athiest, Agnostic, Islam or anything else,But I will draw a line if they try to force their religion on my other workers.
