I have been going out with this guy for about 3 months, during these 3 months there have been special occasions. Like christmas, new years, his birthday, and valentines day. Every special day that came up I was there to present a gift or to show that I hadn't forgotten. Unfortunately I have not gotten anything back in return. The only thing that he wants to give me is sex. I don't love him but if your with me then its all about you; but I mean it wouldn't kill him to say thank you or you didn't have to, or anything. And on all the days that he had forgotten he didn't even get me a Valentines Day present. I got nothing. No bear, candy, card, or even a happy valentines day. He doesn't realize how good he has it. And I mean it could be different if I had asked him for something, but I don't ask him for anything. I don't ask for nothing at all. I just want him to love me, and I can't even say that he loves me because if he did then he would act like it. So should I leave him?

First off figure out where you and your guy friend stand in the relationship if this is what it is. Maybe by giving you a little something in the bedroom could be showing you that he appreciates everything that you do for him, so you don't get a present back, the point is not to expect anything in return whether or not you get anything. If it bothers you so bad why don't you talk to him and let him know how you feel and find out what he has to say. I am sure he will be willing to talk to you about anything that is bothering you if he is any kind of a guy. You have said you don't really love him like that, so you can't expect him to say he loves you and that should be something shared when both parties feel comfortable about saying it to each other. It does not seem he is given you a reason to leave him, as it seems he has done nothing, you could try to work it out and if after a while you don't see a change then you make the decision to leave but be sure you tell him you are leaving and why.

First, you have to be honest with yourself and find out if you've been fair to him.
Meaning, have you verbalized what you would like, or at least expect, in return?
Lots of times, this causes problems because no one can read minds.
As long as you do not say anything, then he will continue to act a certain way because...well, you have said anything about NOT liking what he has been offering.
Be fair and let him know your disappointment.
If it doesn't change within a few weeks - then, it's time to step.
That's the mature way to handle it AND the fair way - for both of you.

YOU SAY THAT YOU "DON'T ASK HIM FOR ANYTHING" BUT IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOU EXPECT SOMETHING FROM HIM. SO WITH THAT SAID, IF HE'S NOT MEETING YOUR EXPECTATIONS, THEN YOU SHOULD LEAVE HIM.
