Your on and off relationship with this guy certainly means that commitment is not happening right now, and may your other half is not ready to step up to the plate just yet, There is probably a few reasons why in which you should talk to him about it and let him know what you think and find out what he thinks. Just because he texted you a "Happy Valentines" does not necessarily mean that he is ready to pick up where he left off. Just go with the flow and see what happens, no need to rush into things, as it could result in a split of the relationship.

I would say that it means happy valentines day and he hopes you are doing well. Why read more into it? Just respond with same to you or whatever and let it go. Why do you continue to be on and off with this guy? Are you sitting around waiting for him to be ready to commit to you? You should think better of yourself, if a relationship is what you want, then you should find someone who is ready to commit. He will continue down this path for as long as you let him. Why should he commit, when you just let him come back whenever he wants, for as long as he wants. If no committment is required, you won't get it.

The fact that he is thinking about you on this day means that he is either that he is lonely right now or he really loves and cares about you. It is up for you to decide.
If you are waiting for him until he is ready you may be making a big mistake. The old phrase is "there are other fish in the sea". The sea is huge and on Valentine's Day there are a lot of fish out there.
I say move on to another guy and don't waste your life waiting until he is ready to commit.
Either way good luck and Happy Valentine's Day from me too!!

Well i know how that feels iv been on and off for a few years.but you should ask yourself these questions do you love him?does he love
and should he realy have to make a commitment so soon you have been together for less then a year you are moving to fast! Then ask him if he still has feelings for you also if you cant stay together ask yourself why you keep breaking up and fix oh and if he sends you roses and or candy then you read into it but not yet you should realy slow things down!

Guys are simple. If he wrote "Happy Valentine's Day I hope you are doing well", then that is exactly what he means. There aren't any hidden messages there. He just wants to wish you a happy day and he hopes you are well. Hope that helps.

Just mean he is thinking of you and no do not feed into it. You need to get involved with someone other then him and have some fun and when he see that you are not focusing on him or thinking of him then he will start to realize what he is missing.

it means just what it says. Don't read anymore into it. I sent a similar message to a friend this morning, it's just being nice.
