but I'm not sure that would be a good idea amd I would need some help because he is a rather tall fellow and i'm petite. Any ideas on this?

Stuff him in a suitcase! :-)
So you should do it like this ... sneak up behind him with a stepladder, a bottle of chloroform and a cloth. Chloroform him until he's out. Then bring the suitcase in - make sure it's one of those ones with wheels on it.
Then call your taxi and take him to the airport and fly off with him - check him in to the luggage compartment of the plane :-)
