Right or wrong doesn't apply here. You can't choose who you love you just do. Real love is unconditional and doesn't require being requitted but it sure adds to things. Hope I helped you.

Well, if you truly like him, then you should have the courage to tell him. Of course, he might reject you but wouldnt it hurt more if you didnt tell him your true feelings when you had a chance? take the risk.
As for not opening up to you, i think he just isnt comfortable in talking about the topic. Thats the reason why he always change the subject when it comes up. Give him time, he is still reeling from being heart broken. Just be there for him when he needs someone to talk.

It's OK to have feelings for this guy, of course.
But the way you are going about it is liable to leave you rather unhappy.
I would estimate that he is not ready to seek a new relationship with ANYBODY at the moment but only for his own reasons.
If you want to be there at the time that he decides that he IS ready then I suggest that you position yourself as a supportive friend.
Offer him opportunities to join you on some lighthearted recreational activities under the pretext of taking his mind off his troubles. After some time has passed you may both feel comfortable enough to try going out on a real date.
Just a suggestion.:-)

Give him time to heal. If everytime you give him hints and he avoids you then perhaps thats his hint to you that he's not ready. when a person gets hurt they put their gaurd up. this is normal. if i were you i would stick by his side ... make sure he's alright. Don't pressure him. don't even bring it up. when he's ready to start something new and you're the one he chooses then he'll let you know. for now you should just be the really good friend.

First ask yourself, Is it really love? If it is, then it's right. Love can't be controlled, and love can't be wrong. A crush can.
Try getting to be better friends with him. Find out if he has AIM. Talk to him and hang out with him more. Try and get close to him, close enough so that he will tell you how he feels on his own. Then if you feel right, you can ask him out.

if u love him, i think it is really alright for u to stand by him ,support him and comfort him
but it is sure that in case if u don't want to scare him away, just do what a frd should do is enough
do it step by step, then u may have a chance to get together with him in the future, just when he get recovered

Make him cuddle with you and watch a movie or something. Few guys mind doing this with their female friends. Then take it from there.

Yes, but you're wasting your love if you do. Give your time and your love to someone that wants and needs it.
