I have just had an obagi blue peel done. I had some scarring from acne and decided to have this done.
I was unaware of how painful the procedure was. Although it was over in 10 minutes it was still painful. Recovery time took 2 weeks and the end results were quite disappointing.
Has anyone else had the same and felt like this. Dont know what i was expecting but thought my skin would have improved more than 10%.

I'm not sure of the cost of the obagi skin care line, but I did read in a book that was written by a (board-certified) dermatologist that the blue chemical peel may not be as effective as using tca alone (obagi blue peel has tca mixed in). I may be getting a tca (medium depth) peel towards the end of the summer myself (and was quoted a price of $800). I don't want to purchase the agent myself and apply the chemical and risk scarring and infection.

they should have told you were you had it done that it may not be the result that you wont before they started, it may take 2-3 or even 4 gos to get the look you wont.
