I was torn between the Springer and the Petits Basset Griffon
I hate to say this, because that Dandy was darling, but I'm really glad he didn't win. If that dog had won, there would be a ZILLION dandy breeders springing up breeding that dog within the next 2 months and we'd see a flood of Dandys in the market over the next 6 months to a year. And even worse, we'd see ungroomed and significantly less pretty Dandy's in shelters across the country and no one would know what they were.
I still thought that Dandy was adorable though.

Having just come off his big win at the AKC National Championship show in Tampa last month, "James" was the PC dog for the judge to put up. IMHO, James was not the best choice at Westminster. He just didn't seem to have the same "sparkle" that night as he showed at the national. The PBGV was asking for the win, as was the toy poodle, and both the bouvier and dandie are outstanding examples of their breeds. To me it seemed that James was just another very pretty springer that night. Oh, well, another day, another dog show.

I was very pleased the ESS won, mine will be a year old in April and looks like "James" twin. I am also happy to hear James is retired after 6 yrs of competition and will be assisting patients in Virgina soon. What a great dog! My second choice was the Akita; what a beautiful animal. Great show overall; Bravo!!!!

I don't know,,, that Springer was really nice.
The thing with a Dandi is that they are a bit like a Poodle, you make them look that way with a pair of scissors.
But the judge didn't give either Beagle a decent look ,,, waaaaaaaaaa,,, Oh well, maybe next year ;)

i might want to have loved the weim to have positioned in the crew, yet realistically Jimmie wasn't going to conquer the large variety a million dogs in the country at the moment and that is Beckham the Black Cocker Spaniel that received the crew. definite I loved that Hickory received BIS, out of that line up it replaced into her instruct. i'm happy the choose did not pick the graceful fox terrier as that's his breed, and the SFT replaced into rumored to win the entire ingredient. i needed Maddie the Amstaff to position to boot, if no longer win the crew, she is only awesome. And for James the finished dane to get snubbed replaced into only ridiculous.

Yea, I watched it .. There were a lot of beautiful dogs, but I was dissapointed the Bichon didn't even place in the non-sporting group.
