It is most likely happening because of the heat of your hair dryer and then the opposite, the cold outdoors.
I read an article about this in Glamour magazine, once before.
Pantene Pro-V has a special winter shampoo/conditioner just for this purpose!
It is called, "Pantene Pro-V Winter Rescue"
I am including a link with more info about the hair prodcuts and other winter hair care tips!
best of luck!

the cold weather and central heating can make static worse aswell as hair dryers and hair straighteners. use a leave in conditioner as it adds a bit of weight to the hair. this will definately get rid of the static. it worked for me!!

well it is the winter season and the air is dryer than the rest of the year. here's what you do. wash it less often, that way the natural oils aren't being stripped away. and do not use the blow dryer! save it for spring hun, seriously. blowdrying takes out the natural moisture that your hair contains. add a lil leave-in conditioner and i know this may sound strange but add some regular lotion to the ends of your hair twice a day. your hair will soak it up and it helps keep it moisturized and soft.also if you wanted you could also add some de-frizzer to help control the fly-bys.

in case you over wash your hair, it is going to easily get greasier because you try so frustrating to eliminate each and every of the oils on your scalp that your pores now ought to over catch up on the oils it has lost, for this reason generating too a lot oil making your hair greasy. yet, you ought to have oily hair, so that you probably can not pass more desirable than an afternoon or 2 without washing your hair. purchase a shampoo and conditioner with a sturdy PH stability and likely organic without sulfur to make sure that your hair to regain its organic chemistry. Wash your hair no more desirable than once an afternoon and continuously challenge afterwards.

I know it sounds stupid, but try using a tumble dryer sheet. Just run it over your hair and it should get rid of the static. It worked a treat for me

Your hair is static because of the heat from your hairdryer, your hair cant take it no more. You need to put heat protector on I recomend TRESemme Heat Defence. It protects your hair from heat aswell as making it shiny and smell nice!
Hope I Helped.

It is because the air is so dry this time of year. Best thing you can do is use a moisturing shampoo and conditioner, and use a humidifier in your home - that will help tremendously. Good luck!

You're using too harsh a shampoo and you're using a plastic hairbrush no doubt. Use a natural shampoo, get a bristle brush and use a spray in conditioner or mousse to keep your hair down.

its probably something to do with the clothes you wear, fleece, cotton, nylon-those can produce static. Try using Garner Fructis Style spray after you dry your hair. it worked great for me!
good luck.
