The love of my life is leaving our home and my Valentine's Day is absolutely miserable. I feel completely broken and devastated. I don't know how I'm going to get through this day, let alone the remaining days. My eyes are swollen from crying and nothing is okay.

Even though I'm no longer in love with my ex I am still in love with the memory of how we were.Valentines Day(that has already passed for me because of where I live) was the first I spent without him in 4 years but somehow I just didn't think much about it, maybe it shows I'm really getting over him. However we broke up only a little over a month before what was to be our 4th anniversary and that day was difficult. I feel for you(hopefully that doesn't sound too corny).

I am havin an okay time i guess. I am not married or anything but my BF is some what shy and stuff and hasn't talked about doin anything. But my advice to u is that use Valentines day as an Hatred day. Think of all the good things. THen the bad things. Then act like the day is just a regular day. It may not seem to help but just find a new "soulmate" And try to forget teh other person untill he comes crawling back to u!!!!<3

I know this is a rough situation… keep going you will get through it.
I am deployed to Iraq and am on the opposite side of the world from my wife. The only way these two situations compare is the fact that we will both be alone on this terrible holiday invented by some jerk at Hallmark to sell more products. Hang in there, in time it will get easier… it’s just really rough getting to the easier part. To hell with Valentines Day, just try to have a good day…

go find your other single girlfriends and bond with them.
I'm sorry it happened to you, you don't deserve it!
I know a wonderful woman who was dumped by her fiance for her best friend 2 weeks ago.
I'm cooking dinner for her today :)
Just keep your head up and do the best you can. Plenty of us are all alone, but it's okay.
Also, watch the link. Even if this dude doesn't work out, there's somebody else out there waiting for you that you wouldn't have been able to find w/o letting go of current guy.
Spend the day nurturing yourself, okay? My thoughts are with you, cupcake!

trust me this is JUST ANOTHER DAY! its just a made up holiday used to help people make money! --- your life WILL go on without the love of your life - theres a reason you 2 are not together. There will be another that you will meet that you will be with forever. Dont be sad - there are millions of people without " valentines"

just keep your head up - another man is destined for you - trust me ! i know you dont believe that now - but it will happen!

it'll be alright, valentines day is overrated, everyone makes it seem like a big deal but a person could get roses or chocolate to their loved ones on any day. don't worry about it'll just take time.

Just think, your life is starting over, and things happen for a reason.

I met my husband on Valentines day and he left me 2 weeks before our 3 anniversary.

Just remember "THINGS COULD BE WORSE"
