no just forget about it the Roi is another country and have no jurisdiction in the uk but if you go back to the Roi and get stoped by the garda then you might be fined on the spot or get arrested.

For God sake! pay the money, you'll sleep better.

You never know what's on the future and one day you might need or want to go back there. Besides you don't know if in the future UK and ROI will make some kind of agreement to deal with their mutual "speeding fugitives". So why to make thing bigger than they are, pay the fine and move on.

Personally I wouldnt after the amount of time I gave parking tickets to ROI registered cars and the drivers threw them away and said they wouldnt pay them and we couldnt take them to court. ROI government has no jurisdiction in the UK although they do have extradition agreements its too costly to extradite you for a simple motoring offence so theyll just write it off. Besides the Garda could never be bothered to arrest and extradite hundreds of wanted IRA terrorists for our government so I cant see your local police force rushing round and smashing your door down for this

If you return to Eire without paying then you could be dealt with but not if you ignore it and stay away
