If Iran is attacked, it will be Bush attacking Iran, not the country. The American people will not support another war, the number of people who support the Iraq war is dwindling.
As for the guy who talks about the IEDS. The Iranian government has strongly denied this. It is just propaganda coming from the whitehouse. Remember before the Iraq war, the government said iraq had all these weapons and was dangerous. And then none of it was true. Well they said that just to rally the people, Americans believed it and supported the war in turn. Bush is using the same tactics he used before invading Iraq right now. And you....unfortunately, are falling for it.

No -- even if there were the political will to attack (this is absent in both parties, I think) we're far too occupied right now to do so.
Sophie, I am absolutely astounded that you believe the Iranians aren't supplying insurgents with weapons and training to attack coalition troops.
While the Iraq invasion was indeed predicated on faulty intel, and I wish we hadn't gone to war either, every Western intelligence service in the world, and I bet the Arab ones too, believed this same intel. It's just that few believed it was worth going to war over. Don't let your loathing for Bush cloud your judgment over Iran's activity -- Iran has been attacking us via proxy since their Revolution (and this is not just W's belief, it was Reagan's, Bush Sr.'s, and Clinton's, too).

if we do it will be before jan 2009, when a democrat take office. hopefully we won't, but bush doesnt care about approval ratings or re-election because he cant be because of our constitution. So he can basically attack when ever he wants.

Our so-called president is chomping at the bits to attack Iran but he is a bigger fool that I've always known he is if he does.
Unlike Iraq, Iran will fight back.
It's Americans who will be in the kennels of Gitmo this time.

I think we should do Iran the way they are doing our troops...use our Special Forces to set up IEDs and destroy their military...and then bomb the crap out of them...
