Have you checked into Stonebridge Country Club? My friend got married at Stonebridge and the place is fantastic. They are just outside Manchester, NH. They have great views, the food is excellent and the service is wonderful...the owner runs all the weddings herself!! They also have on-site ceremonies too! In my opinion it's the best place around and it's not overpriced.

Stonebridge Country Club is very nice and would have some great views. Alternatively, take a look at CR Sparks in Bedford, NH. It doesn't look like much because it's just a restaurant and banquet hall but they do have a nicely landscaped area which would be great for a small ceremony or just pictures after the ceremony. The banquet space is spectacular in there - my graduation from SNHU was held there and it tends to be the place of choice for my alma mater. I've recommended this place plenty of times before because I have a friend who works there who I know will take care of all the details for you. Ask for Mr. Dhir if you go to check out the place. Here's their website:

There's a relatively new place called Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown (I think). It's beautiful. But it's kinda small. They say you can fit 200 people, but I wouldn't think it would be good for more than 150 or so. You should look at it. GORGEOUS!! I wanted to have mine there, but it's too small. The views are spectacular, and it's on a small vineyard, so what could be better?

Also, this could be a small problem for you, too....I don't know if they're technically open yet. They are holding functions, the room is all set, but they didn't have a kitchen ready when I went. So you may have to get it catered. But, that was a year ago. They may be done by now!

Did I mention STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL? It is done as an old post-and-beam building, so if you like that sort of thing (old-fashioned). If not, it would be a waste of time.

Congrats, and good luck.

At the Mount Washington Resort and Hotel is a good place to have a wedding and reception. The location of Mount Washington Hotel and Resort isn't in the southern region of NH, but is centered in NH. The only problem of the Mt. Washington Resort and Hotel is that it can be very pricey. But it is a beautiful wedding location!

This isn't excatly southern, but there are some pretty venue's around New London, NH. But if you are in Southern New Hampshire...why not look into southern Maine as well. Laudholm Farm/Wells Reserve is a beautiful place to get married in late spring/summer/early fall. If you need any more info or a caterer, contact me at cpkgendron@yahoo.com. I am the event manager for Kitchen Chicks Catering in Southern Maine.

My cousin got married at Stonebridge Country Club and I agree...it was over the top! Everyone was friendly and the grounds are really great. The best part is that it's only 15 minutes from Manchester so it's not too far away. In just 15 minutes from the city you get great views. It's awesome!

I'm glad I'm hearing good things about Stonebridge. I'm having my reception there this summer. Everyone has told me how great the place is! I am working with the owner and she really is super. She really is going out of her way to give us everything we want.

check out cathedral of the pines, my hippie parents got married there in '73, it's an outdoor altar type place but I don't know if they have a reception hall because my parents had their reception in another state than NH.
