If these two ever met in the ring, who do you think would win? I think it would be an awesome match at Super Bantam (along with several others).

Your thoughts, folks.

An addition for Brent F, regarding the comment about Molitor being outclassed: I know that he was out of the sport for 13 months (mainly because no one would fight him), and I assumed that you knew about the fact that during those 13 months, he was sparring with Erik Morales.

It would be a good fight, i agree with you but i can only see one winner at this point it time and that would be Marquez, this would be mainly down to his extra experience at the top level, as Brent says Marquez has been one of the best in the world pound for pound for a good few years now, Molitor is still a little bit rough around the edges and this would cost him dearly against a skilled fighter like Marquez, i do however think that Molitor has the potential to rule the division in the future he hits hard and moves well, i think if he could get in against some of the fringe contenders and beat them well then he could be ready within 18 months or so for a crack at Marquez.

Paulie, Maybe I'm wrong but I think Molitor is out of his class if matched against Marquez. In my opinion Marquez is the best pound for pound fighter in the sport.

I didn't know he was sparring with Morales. Interesting info. But it still doesn't change the fact that I think he is outclassed in this match up. Sparring and fighting an actual title fight, as you must know, are world's apart.
