In WW2 the Nazis lied to their people about an attack by Poles as an excuse to invade. They then invaded, plundered and murdered their way through the country. In 2002 the American government lied to its people about weapons of mass destruction. They invaded and continue to plunder and murder their way through Iraq. Are Bush and his cronies the new Nazis? Should the US be renaimed the Fourth Reich?

That's a very good similarity you've pointed out. But we have to remember that while Poland were the genuine innocent parties, Iraq had a tyrant for a leader and Iraqis were in genuine trouble. Although what Bush and Blair said about weapons of mass destruction was fairly incorrect, it freed the people who were under Saddam Hussein, where in Poland a fairly good government was literally thrown out by Hitler himself. In Poland's case, the Nazis themselves went on to cause mayhem and destruction (as you put it) in the country, but in Iraq's case, most of the mayhem are caused by al-Qaeda and not America. Although Iraq today is admittedly in a worse state than when Saddam was in control, I don't the NeoCons are the new Nazis. Just a bit of misjudgment from the Bush administration that boiled over into something now hard to control.

are you freaking serious?

If any one ever gave you a passing grade in history, they should be kicked out of the teaching profession and be forced to work at a burger place for the rest of their days.

I really can not believe any one would dare make a comparison to Poland and Iraq!

that is insulting, ignorant and just plain asinine.

can you name even one real similarity to the two occurrences? No, you can only make blanket statements that are as inaccurate as they are biased.

Poland was an independent democratic country that happens to have the misfortune of being directly between two major powers that had been struggling for control over the land since the time of The holy roman emperor.

Iraq was a country ruled by a despot in violation of UN law, and the man tortured, raped and murdered his own people for over 20 years...

you know what? I don't think things like facts, history and proof mean squat to you.

your going to keep thinking your idiotic little theories and making vile and despicable statements like that.

by the way, please please please go up to any polish man or woman who lived though the war, through the occupation of Poland by either the Germans or the soviets... and I promise you they will correct you in ways you have yet to imagine.

Oh and if you didn't realize it, Poland has troops in Iraq, so I guess they don't see a comparison at all, I mean would you support an action that reminded you of your own occupation?

grow up and read a history book kid.

and try to find one a lot of words, not just pictures.

The comparrisons that you have made you have tailored your own concluision upon them. Reminds me of the witch trail in monty pythons search of the holy grail. The US never lied about it's intentions in Iraq. Iraq was and had been in violation of the cease fire agreement that was effected in 1992. Iraq was rearming, and had expelled the UN inspection team. And was seeking to develop WMD's the fact that they did ot have them yet does not mean that they were not trying to get them. If fact every soldier that had to go to Iraq is very glad that they did not have them for they would have used them.
Poland was and entire different story. Had the US acted in 1939 Germany in the same manner as in Iraq 20 million lives would had been saved, but off course Roosevlt would have been in your eyes worst than Hitler.
Pull your head out of the liberal and start thinking for yourself.

the Nazi's never "lied to their People" they said Poland was going to be theirs and they grabbed it. Your basic premise is based on a lack of knowledge and understanding and so is Moot. Someone like you already call it the 4th Reich so just continue commie boy

Did you not hear Wikipedia is NOT considered a confirmed source as it has been overwhelmed by Neo Nazi's KKK members Commies and Other Nut cases, but feel free to quote it. I was going to college as a History Major.

Get you facts correct We invaded Iraq Under the UN resolution. without it we would not have invaded. Just like in Gulf 1 we wanted to go to Baghdad the UN said NO we had to turn back. Your sources are weak you argument is weaker and you knowledge is based on hate and lies.
