1 chance in 37 - approximately 3%.
More precisely 2.702702702%
I'm assuming that the 0 slot is exactly the same size as the 1 to 36 slots.
On an American Roulette wheel there is also a green 00 so the odds here are 1 in 38 or 2.631%

On a European roulette wheel there are 37 numbers 0-36. On an American roulette wheel there is also a 00 which makes 38 numbers.
So in Europe the odds are that a zero will come up one in 37 spins.
In America the odds of hitting either zero would be two in 38 or one in 19.

Well, I play roulette and I would think that trying to percentage something that is based purely on luck just doesn't make much sense to me. Now probability would be a more accurate way to account for zero coming out. However, I say this only because, the game is played on a hunch, nothing concrete to substantiate any kind of calculations really. I think the whole premise is based on your hunch and pure LUCK if the marble lands on your number. That's all there is, playing the right number on the right spin of the wheel. It's a game of chance. What I am really trying to say is that you can calculate, percentage and anything else you want. You can rely on what is "supposed" to happen, i.e., zero hitting once for every 37 or 38 spins, but realize that zero or any other number never has to come out. You could play the number zero 50 times and it still may not come out. Again, just plain ole luck.

Very different answer, the ODDS of a Zero coming out on a european roulette table is 36/1, meaning that once in every 37 spins it should theoretically come out.
However, if your planning on going into the local bookies tomorrow and playing on a roulette machine, i reckon the chances are, if you cover it, it will never come out, if you dont have it covered, it will come out 10 times in a row

The probability of zero coming out in a games of roullette is 1 in 37 chance, the percentage is 2.7027% Which is the same as any other number you wanted. Also there is a 49% chance the number will be red and a 49% chance the number will be black. Therefore leaving the zero at roughly 2%. I work in a casino in Cardiff.

It doesn't come out of a 'board'. The decision occurs when the ball rests in the pocket indicated with, in this case, the number '0'.
As stated previously, there are thirty-seven pockets in a European wheel and they all have an equal chance of being the winning number provided that the pockets are all the same size.
So the probability is 1/37.

As most roulette wheels also have a double zero, the percentage is just over 2.63%

The probability is 1 in 37.(Theoretically)
In fact, it rarely comes up that often.
