Sarvey janah sukinobhavanthu (may people of all the world be happy); Samasth lokha sukino bavanthu ( may all the world be happy) The recitation of these sacred words is a must. With such great outlook why people are not believing in Hinduism? Wait a minute, I am not asking people to convert to Hinduism, no not at all, as God says all religions are different paths to realise the ONE GOD.

Great ideas will prevail ultimately over the narrow ideas of discrimination on the basis of religion, book, language or race.
Indian tradition is that of recognising and respecting the differences and seeking well-being of everyone as reflected in our daily prayers:
Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah
Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Ma Kashchid Dukh Bhagbhavet!
Om Shantih, Shantih, Shantih!
(Meaning:
Happiness for all, Health for all
Brotherhood among all, No pain for anyone
By God's grace, spread peace everywhere)

Now answer to the counter-question of Muhammad Ishfaq A
"If they are praying like that why there is no peace in the world? in Kashmir, specially? "

Because not every citizen of the Earth is mature enough to think the way Indian sages though. The average mentality is to narrow down to the self, family, nation or the religion. Coming out of these limitation requires lot of maturity and study. Most primitive religious preachers forbid this by branding difference of opinion as infidelity or blasphemy. These primitive leaders even promote hatred and violence against other groups. We need to grow up and understand the oneness of all creation.

Seeing oneness becomes easy by following the Indian thought of Samdarshan where a Samdarshi while burning coal and wearing a diamond ring never forgets that both of these are essentially Carbon.

God is one. There is nothing but God. Unknowingly we r all one entity. Vishwa Kutumbakam (world is one family)

When the body is at peace, one could experience the bliss.

If any part of the body is agitated it disturbs other parts. So we pray for peace and happiness for every human being.

People may follow different paths but God remain the same. Paths do not change the essence of God.

What is in a religion when the so called devotees are not practising it as per the principal ? Today, you can see all the religions are become a mere establishment, there is no true spirituality exists., more over, to become a spiritual person one does not require to follow a particular sect or commune., just find it inside yourself..if you are a real seeker........prayers are good only when it is conducted without a selfish mind.......Love all Hurt non....Be active in life....Be constructive...Be away from all the destructive and negative elements.....Then one can find the real ..Vasudeva Kudumbh....every where...

There's also this one, which makes the fewest religious references and can be therefore applied more easily to everyone (well except for OM, but that's ok):

Om sahanaa vavatu sahanau bhunaktu
Saha veeryam karavaavahai
Tejasvi naavadheetamastu maa vidvishaavahai
Om shantih shantih shantih

OM let both of us protect each other together, may both of us enjoy together, may both of us work together, let our study become radiant, let there be no hatred between us, OM Peace, Peace, Peace.
