You don't want diarrhea because that won't fix the problem. You need to be drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, along with a high fibre diet (grains, fruits and vegetables). You might also want to add a high fibre drink to your diet, such as Metamucil.
If all of this doesn't work, I'd recommend trying some laxatives. They should only be a short term solution. Lifestyle changes are the most important.

You need to use a fiber laxative with lots of water daily and use a stool softener called colace aka docusate 2-3 times a day to keep your stools soft. Since your hemorrhoids are that bad you need to see your doctor about getting them removed.

you know, when you have diarrhea, it means that the colon is NOT absorbing the fluids that it needs to 'concentrate' the stool. If you have diarrhea, you end up losing important fluids that contain nutrients and components that your body needs to function properly. You would end up getting dehydrated, have severe cramping in your muscles and not to mention a raw bottom.
If you still want to risk serious problems...drink plenty ot bottle of Magnesium Citrate (Mg3(C6H5O7) 2)

Take a 1000 milligram vitamin C capsule every hour until you have relief. Also, in future I have found that eating a bran cereal every single day will really help. If you miss a few days you will notice a real difference.
