They make valentines days specifically for friends. If you are going to give him a card then I'd suggest one of those, or one that doesn't give any hint that you want to get back with him. Just be careful not to give any mixed signals. But if you or him are dating anyone currently you may not want to because it could end up causing more trouble than the nice gesture is worth.

Are you giving all your friends cards. He's your ex, even though he's your friend if your not giving to everyone then dont send mix singles to the guy. Guys get confused enough as it is

if you give your ex a valentine card it should be because you are trying to win him/her back again. if that is not your intention and just purely because you are still friends, then don't. it will cause a lot of complications. i think you still love your ex. if you do, then face it buddy!!!

I wouldn't, but if you are going to anyway, then make sure it's a friendly card and not a lovey-dovey one, kind of like one you'd give your grandma or something.

emm. at a first thought, i discourage i. but if you can explain that valentine is not for loving couple only, you can. by telling that you love you ex as a friend and he/she deserve reward as a date.
