writing a legal letter?

I will like to sue someone , but would like a chance at mediating with them to try and resolve the issue without going to court

you call that amicable settlement...besides you don't want to embarass yourself and ruined somebody's reputation too, that is if you can talk it out. kudos!

Thank sounds like a good idea. Write them a legal letter first to try and resolve the matter and then inform them if the matter can not be resolved then you have no other option but to sue them.
