The German arny got to within 20 miles of downtown Moscow. All the commies fleed for Siberia, but The German army got bogged down, because of the severe Winter weather. If the Germans had gone into Russia just one week earlier, the communist would have been destroyed and there would not have been any wars after that. When the commies hauled *** out of Moscow, Stalin saw this and it pisseed him off. This is why he purged so many. The Germans fought a foe outnumbered 4 to 1. They tried to save the world from communism. Over a million Russians joined the Germans in their fight against communism. The Germans had seen what communism had done to Russia and they didn't want it, either. Western Europe owes the Germans a debt of gratitude for fighting WWII. The Germans learned that the Russians were amassing troops near their border and they knew this meant war. So they decided to attack first. The communist tried to take Spain but the Spaniards fought them violently and drove them out.

This period of history had little to do with the ideological differences between Germany and Russian and was More to do with the neurotic hatred that Hitler had for communists and his lenghts to wipe them off the face of the earth starting with the reichstag fire.

The fact that communism still existed then is something to be grateful for, particularly as without them it would have been a much harder and may by impossible task to defeat Germany and thus secure freedom of greater Europe

and as for giving Germany a debt of gratitude, i would rather not, not only for the Jews that were butchered, but also for the fact that my grandfather was a Vitim of the German war machine when he was shot down whilst fighting in the RAF.

The week would have changed nothing. Napoleon also thought that he could destroy Russia by capturing Moscow. Even if the Moscow was destroyed it would not have mattered. I don't recall Germans being outnumbered. The size of forces was aproximatelly the same, but Germans had several times more tanks and planes. They used automatic weapons, but Russians used rifles from WWI. An interesting fact: 28 people at the outskirts of Moscow held against 50 German tanks for 4 hours They destroyed 18 tanks with hand grenades. Surprisingly 2 people survived.

Nazism and Communism have a lot in common. Hitler learned a lot from Lenin, Stalin learned a lot from Hitler.

In the modern world, Fascism is more dangerous than Communism. Russia, with its nukes is on the way of becoming a fascist state. The ruling elite of Russia and most of its population hate America.
