If you want a mild exfoliater go for St. Ives Apricot scrub. It comes in two different formulas, one that is for normal skin and the other is much gentler for sensitive skin. Walmart's Equate brand also carries this, I have some and it works just as good as St. Ives but cost a couple dollars less.

If you really want to slough the dead skin off, you can use a scrubby brush with soft bristles, combined with a moisturizing soap like Dove or Oil of Olay. Or you can use a mix that's easy to make at home consisting of white granulated sugar and honey. It's equal parts of each. Usually a teaspoon of each is enough for your face, so you'll need a lot more if you want to do the rest of your body. The sugar helps to exfoliate and the honey helps to seal in moisture and keep your skin soft. Also, it won't give you acne when it's on your face. Do this and then use Dove or Oil of Olay bar soap to wash any excess off. It leaves your skin really soft!

I've never bought Nivea products before simply because they were too expensive and they seemed skeptical. I do know that Dove does have a bar soap and it's an exfoliant. I have used it before, but I have very dry skin that needs to be exfoliated everyday and I found Dove didn't work very well. I was still left with dry patches. I think it's good to use on your face if you have sensitive skin. Other than that I wouldn't recommend it.

not sure if either has an exfoliating line but if you want a 'drugstore' brand - go with Suave or St. Ive's which are the least expensive .. or Oil of Olay! I don't know for sure if Nivea or Dove have exfoliants...

Nu Skin has a product that will help prevent and clear up existing breakouts and will not dry your skin out at all. It is very effective on blackheads, red skin, and there aren’t any shiny effects.

It's awesome! I am on hormone pills, so my skin changes all the time and I still never have a problem.

I like St. Ive's Apricot scrub. I remember my mom using it when I was a little girl, and I've used it all my adult life too. It definitely refreshes the skin and makes it glow.
I only use it once a week, though.

Currently I'm using Boire facial cleansing wipes, and they have a scrub that I'll try as well. Prior to using this one I've used: Noxema daily scrub, St. Ives Apricot scrub. ANother suggestion would be to try Neutrogena facial scrub.

Hope this helps..................
