Sparkling wines are labeled in one of four levels of sweetness:
Brut (dryest)
Extra dry
Demi-sec
Sec (sweetest)
By the way, "cremant" has nothing to do with sugar content; it tells you where in France the wine comes from (outside the Champagne region, to be specific).

No, not all sparkling wines are sweet. Dry or brut champagne are the opposite of sweet, so don't look for that if you want sweet. Many Italian sparkling whites are good.

Try Moet and Chandon Nectar Imperial. I love it!
Also, Veueve Clicquot Ponsardin Rose Reserve 1997 and 1995.
Not all sparkling wines are sweet. Those in the Brut style are "dry". There are also "Extra Brut" styles. Actually in the 18th and 19th Centuries, people preferred a sweeter style, the "demi-sec" but the "Brut" style became more fashionable in the 20th Century. Enjoy!

Seppelt is a sparkling shiraz from Australia. It is good but is is not overly sweet. For sweet sparkling wine the options are Asti Spumante which is very sweet or you could trya Moscato D'asti which also has some sweetness. Prosecco is also very good but it also has less sweetness. Most other sparkling wines and champagne is dry. You could also try sparkling white zinfandel from Beringer.

Wine is an argument of style so what i love would no longer be what you want besides the undeniable fact that, i supplies you some manufacturers that I want. in the sparkling Wine area, no competition, Cristalino is maximum ideal $7.ninety 9 (From Spain). For my commonplace pink wine i love Folie A Deux Menage a Trois....i imagine you'll discover it at round $8.ninety 9. maximum pink and white wine you would prefer to up it to a minimum of $12.ninety 9-$15.ninety 9 quite of $10, the cost of wine keeps going up. Robert hall Syrah $13.ninety 9, Honig Sauvignon Blanc $15.ninety 9 is a impressive white and Acacia Chardonnay $13.ninety 9. i ought to keep going yet you are able to prefer to bypass on your community wine keep and hit up the keep associates that are often very useful.

I refer you to my other answers.
I must add, Seppelt make a "Show Sparkling" red (sort of the reserve version) and a "Seppelts Original" (much more everyday).
I have found the "Original" to be a bit variable, but if you can get the "Show" version, it is truly special. Imagine plum pudding, berries, spices and shiraz, all in a sparkling wine.

They're definitely not all sweet. Anything that says brut or extra-brut on the label will be incredibly dry. Look for sparkling wines with demi-sec or cremant on the labels.
Schramsberg makes a lovely cremant, and Mumms demi-sec is my personal favorite.
