Don't throw it away. Just try checking your hard drive to see how much space is still currently remaining on the drive. Go to your my computer, then right click on where it says C drive. Go to properties and click. A pie will come up indicating the amount of space and such. Note, you can do this with folders, files, and any types of drives.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE SAVING TO DESTINATED AREA. It should give you the option to save it to a preferred location. If it is a jump drive, check the space on the jump drive. If you do not have enough space, then to free up some space quickly, go to internet explorer, go to tools, then to options, then click delete cookies. Then click delete temporary files. This will free up some space but not a lot.
NOTE, DELETING TEMP FILES ERASES YOUR RECENTLY VISITED SITES. THEY WILL NO LONGER APPEAR AS SUGGESTIONS IN YOUR ADDRESS BAR. YOU WILL HAVE TO REVISIT THEM, FOR THEM TO BE ADDED. Hope that helped.
