Why do you want to find a label? There are a lot of gray areas that don't fit into nice little categories. If you cannot find the one that sums you up best but still feel the need to, then I would suggest saying you are an Earth based Universalist or Earth based Spiritualist.
As it is, I don't even like the label of Pagan, the word originally meant someone that hadn't converted because they lived off the beaten path, akin to calling someone a hillbilly today. Nowadays, Pagan means someone who isn't of an Abrahamic faith (Hebrew, Christianity, Muslim). The problem with this is when you say you are Pagan you are not saying what you are, you are saying what you are not. Kind of like someone asking your name and saying it is not Fred. Be happy with whom you are.

Hey there. I'll try to get back to you with a good website, but I just wanted to tell you that I too was in your position and after looking into several different pagan paths, I have begun just referring to myself as eclectic since there are things I like and dislike about so many of the paths I've considered.
I guess until I find the right one I'll continue to call myself an eclectic pagan and do what works for me. There's nothing wrong with that.
Peace

There are literally hundreds of websites on the internet you can search through, but none really tell you exactly what Pagan is all about, because for each person, there is a slightly different meaning.
Here is a link which has a selection of Pagan links you can check through, if this helps at all -

I just wanted to correct someone who posted earily. Pagan, does mean someone who lives outside of the city. But if that person kept reading they would have found that other definition, and the one that directly applies to this sitiuation is: One who is not a member of an Abrahamic religion (includes Judaism, Christianity and Islam).
But to answer your question: witchvox.com, witchschool.com are good places.

www.witchvox.com <--If you haven't been here yet, you should.
And Margo Adler's "Drawing Down the Moon" is still one of the difinitive texts on the various Pagan paths. There's a revised edition that was released recently, for about $20. Money well spent, if you're really interested.

Though I am not a Pagan, and will pray for you and yor soul, a great source to seek information on Pagansim will be in any anthropology and/or theology department of your local university.
Most of today's pagan faiths only pay lip service to the pagan faiths of yore. The exception to this is the resurgence of Odinism in American prisions.
Modern paganism can be segregated into three different categories...animism, spiritualism, and deity worship. Diety worship, like Odinism, or worship of Osiris, and even Satanism (when I refer to satanism I am refering to the Lucieferian cults that view Satan as a promethian figure, not the adversarial definition of satan in islam, christianity, or in judiaism) is pretty easy to pidgeonhole yourself into. Do you worship a diety or a pantheon of dieties? If so, you are a pagan deity worshiper.
Do you view that the universe is a conscious entity, and that we are components of that entity? That by examining ourselves we unlock the universe within, and that through wisdom and self-examiniation we can find peace and enlightenment? If so, you are a spiritualist.
Do you view animals and trees as having a spiritual connection to humans? Do we as humans share a common soul with nature? Is there power in magic? If so, you are an animist.
Good luck in your quest. I do hope one day you find the peace I have found following the Prince of Peace.

Just follow your own beliefs...why does it have to be tied to a religion...as long as a good sense of morality is upheld.
