how do babys get colic?

hope i spelling is ok what sympoms are of colic what if its something else. he always hungry but only eats a few to4oz. ataa time need a sec oppinion thanks dad in new york

You posted this in the wrong forum! This is for taxes and finance but I'm sure you will get a lot of great answers if you post in the family/baby section. You have to choose the forum after you post your question--then they ask you the catagory to put it in.

My children never did have colic (I guess I was one of the lucky ones) but I do know that babies that have it will cry non-stop for hours at a time---it's really hard to comfort them. Some say it's because of gas on their tummies giving them pain...it's a big topic and really should be discussed in another forum! Sorry---hope you can get lots of help and advice.
