My guy has to get out of our big bed at night because my body emits so much heat he has to get cooled off. Why does my body do this? I don't feel like I am too hot. I feel pretty well all the time.
Thanks

I have worked in the sleep industry for 5 years and there is no reasonable explanation for this. It would appear that some people have different ways of resting. In you case your body turns on the heat and in some other people the complete opposite. My girlfriend for example is much like you, a human furnace. My educated guess would be that it has something to do with genetics and your biological make up. Again people are different in many ways and you have your own built in heater.
A few things you should look into. #1) your blood pressure before bed and when you wake up. #2) Cholesterol levels and #3) Check you iron levels in your blood. If any of these are way over where they should be it could be the reason why you body ups the temp at night. If they are normal then you just need to accept your a heat source.
