I wear a brand called "Night & Day" by CIBA vision that are breathable lenses. They're FDA approved and say right on the box, "Up to 30 nights Continuous Wear". It's recommended that you replace them once per month.
My Optometrist suggested I take them out once per wk overnight just for cleaning. I was having alot of trouble with dryness and she suggested these. I've worn them for about two months now, changing them once...and take them out for cleaning about once per wk or when I think of it, lol.
The only downfall with them is they're completely clear, not the slightest bit tinted, so hard to see. They are soft contacts, but not quite as soft as some I've used in the past. They are by far, the most comfy contacts I've worn, and don't dry out like other brands. You can use rewetting drops as needed. Hope this helps.

as quickly as ability you will likely finally end up with very dry eyes and uncomfortable lenses via the top of day after today. they'd additionally be complicated to take out . "Rewetters" will help. long term in case you are attempting this plenty you threat your eyesight. the possibility isn't plenty an infection as oxygen deprivation to the attention. That comees up on you progressively - you won't observe and the final taht can take place there is which you would be with out your lenses for weeks and in extremely some discomfort. The worst is that your eyesight would be completely broken and /or you isn't waiting to placed on contacts lower back. you have dailies - make a habit of having a spare set on you , its between the reward of dailies.

Yes there are lenses that work like that. But it does have to be that special kind, usually the 30 day ones still have to be taken out every night.

yes there are contact lenses that can be worn for 30 days/nights there are two main brands, Purevision & Night + Day.
i wore the purevison ones for a while, they were ok but to be honest i prefer the daily disposable ones, you get a fresh clean lens every morining with no hassle or expense of solutions (all the possitives of continuous wear but without the increased risk of infection)

Glass hard lenses can be worn longer than soft lenses but if you are in bed asleep why bother wearing them? Why not go for laser surgery instead if he is that bothered about the insertion/removal/cleaning regime?

Yes, they're called Night and Day Contact Lenses (my college-age son has worn them successfully for about two years now.)

Yes I wear them from Specsavers called All Day, All Night Monthlies, £13.50 p/month. I can pop them in on the 1st and take them out on the 31st of the month with no problems and still do everything I would do normally (sleep in them etc etc).
I've worn them for a few years now and would recommend them as they are coming down in price, I used to pay £38 p/month for them.

yeah, they are new and made from a material that can breathe. So this material allows oxygen to diffuse in.. and there is no need for them to be taken off..
technically there is no problem, however, i prefer to use the ones that i take off every night. In general contacts can damage the surface of the eye and i simply don't like the idea of not giving my eyes a break.. just being too traditional..
