I just received a message from a good friend of many years, who recently confessed I was the reason he couldn't let other girls into his heart. Many years ago, he already told me he liked me, at that time I rejected him, but later we remained friends, and our friendship grew stronger over the years. Recently when he took me out to a really fancy restaurant (I was unsuspecting, and thought I'd be paying half!) and told me about his heart, I was nice but firm in insisting I only want to remain as friends, and I must say, he knows all about who I like and what kind of guy I'm looking for. My question is, do I reply to his Happy Valentine's message? What shall I say?

is he your type? Do you like him? Tell him how you feel and be honest don't play with his feelings. Just be honest and let him know how you feel that way you all can remain friends or if you want more than that you all can go on with the relationship. But at least tell him happy valentine's day as well.

Well, I wud advise dat if u do like him, tell him cos jus like d sayin goes, wen u love someone, tell them cos there wil come a time wen u wont say it. I believe u love him, plis tell him dat u do n u wil hav a good tym since both of u know each other perfectly well. I too am in d same situation with a chic dat calls me a frend n wen i told her dat i love her, she said dat we shud b frends but d truth is dat she has feelings for mi though she is afraid to say so. So, my dear, tell him dat u love him n reply to his valentines message
